Objective
Support the empowerment of young people to lead healthy sexual lives

Change starts from within

Dance4Life believes deeply that real change always starts from within. It starts when every individual discovers their inner power. Their own potential.

Our approach to comprehensive sexuality education encourages young boys and girls to take personal leadership over their sexual lives. We harness youth culture like music and dance to create awareness and offer young people skills to build self-esteem and autonomy. To make them courageous.

That is the real game-changer.

This is not enough however, young people also need access to youth-friendly services and to face fewer structural barriers to their well-being. This is why we work together with partners in over 20 countries who have a strong track record working on these issues.

The Dance4Life Empowerment Model

Based on insights from over a decade of implementation and the most recent evidence and scientific findings, the Dance4Life Empowerment Model is developed by and for young people. The core of our model is the Journey4Life, a curriculum that is delivered by trained peer leaders called Champions4Life who work directly with young people in their empowerment.

The Academy4Life

We offer an innovative online platform: the Academy4Life. It is a space where youth leaders and partner organisations can strengthen their professional and personal skills. Through the Academy, participants can access content when and where it suits them.
