The new YIELD Collective Action Hub, hosted by Rutgers, is looking for young professionals to start up and lead a new cross-stakeholder initiative. Young people want and deserve the power to make decisions about their bodies, lives, and futures. It is both their right and their responsibility. To make this a reality, the Hub wants to transform the sexual and reproductive health and rights of young people and make them part of decision making at every level.
.
Do you want to create a world where young people actively contribute to and influence all levels of decision-making about their sexual and reproductive health and rights? Do you have transformational ideas about how young people, researchers, advocates and funders can work together? Are you creative, ambitious and interested in building a new cross-stakeholder initiative that supports progress in the sexual and reproductive health and rights of adolescents and young people?
Then apply for one of the three YIELD Collective Action Learning Hub positions.
We are seeking a geographically, gender-diverse team of young professionals between the ages of 25-35 years. Young professionals from countries that are not members of the European Union or from the United States of America are encouraged to apply. All three Lead positions are remote, one-year contract positions with potential for renewal and compensated between US$60-75,000 per year. Fluency in English is required and proficiency in French is desired.
The recruitment process for these positions will be led by Jennifer Catino and Amy Babchek in collaboration with a cross-stakeholder selection committee. Applications for this position should be submitted no later than October 24, 2021. The selection process will begin the following week with screening interviews, followed by panel interviews, and then individual interviews with finalists.

Despite increasing evidence of the benefits of youth partnership, it is still not systematically, consistently, or rigorously adopted. Mainstreaming youth partnership in adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights is hindered by a lack of cross-stakeholder alignment, coordination, and shared learning. It is time for collective action to overcome these persistent barriers and advance youth partnership as the norm.
The YIELD Collective Action Learning Hub is built on the research and stakeholder engagement of the Youth Investment, Engagement and Leadership Development Project (YIELD Project). The new YIELD Hub will pursue action learning priorities within and across the areas of measurement, practice and resourcing of youth partnerships in adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health and rights. The Hub is an independent initiative hosted by Rutgers International.
