Compared to many other countries the Netherlands has one of the lowest teen pregnancy rates and scores low on sexually transmitted diseases. Young people are generally well informed on sexuality and contraception use is high.

Dutch Lessons in Love part two (22 min) shows how Rutgers and its partners educate and work with young people in the Netherlands to have safe and pleasant sex, only when they are ready for it. The video includes scenes filmed during sex education classes at a Dutch primary school, a secondary school and at a school for children with disabilities.
