The toolkit includes guidelines on how to successfully include young people in research and enhance the effectiveness of youth sexual and reproductive health and rights programmes. It also contains three manuals to train and support young people to conduct qualitative data collection for research and monitoring & evaluation.
The toolkit will be useful for organisations that want to involve young people in monitoring and evaluation, needs assessments, rapid appraisals, explorative studies, PEER reviews, operations research, action research and in-depth research. It is aimed at researchers, monitoring and evaluation officers, and project staff who want to increase the effectiveness and sustainability of their youth programmes.
