In the underlying report we present a unique international study to unpack the concept of empowerment. We interviewed almost 2500 young people from the Netherlands, Indonesia, Kenya and Russia. Questions included: What does empowerment mean to young people in different cultural and
economic contexts? Do they feel empowered themselves? And which aspects of empowerment are important for them when making relational and sexual choices? The outcomes offer interesting insights.
