Violence and Mental Health Profile among Early Adolescent in Indonesia: Calling for Urgent Actions
In 2020, E4A data was used to develop policy briefs for five Indonesian government departments, linking key findings to government priorities. One of the briefs highlighted the need for urgent action on violence and mental health among young adolescents.
It aimed to refocus the attention of the Ministry of Health in Indonesia on these critical domains as it works towards achieving SDG 3, which is: “to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages”. A key recommendation is that the Ministry includes child violence and mental health in national priority programs of primary health care. The full brief is available in English and Indonesian.
