4 January 2021

Rutgers and Dance4Life have entered into a full merger on 1st January 2021 whilst retaining their own brands. Both Supervisory Boards have agreed to this. Rutgers and Dance4Life have been working together for years to improve the sexual health and rights of young people worldwide. Combining the strengths of both organisations offer opportunities to make greater impact together.

In the spring of 2020, both organisations expressed their intention to work together more intensively in the future. In vision and mission, both organisations complement each other. Improving the sexual health and rights of young people is desperately needed: unsafe sex is still the fastest growing health risk for young people worldwide. Furthermore, complications in pregnancy are the number one cause of death of girls aged 15 to 19 years old.

For the public, both brands will remain unchanged, a full merger provides opportunities to increase impact and efficiency and reduce costs within one organisation.
