With a special focus on illiterate participants the manual describes a program of six consecutive sessions that enables you to discuss harmful practices and other relevant sexual health and rights issues for parents and other caretakers of girls aged 8 – 18. It inspires them to choose alternatives for them and their communities do to give their daughters a healthy, more sustainable future. The manual contains tips and links to useful Sexual and reproductive health-information for trainers and participants.
This manual is a pragmatic result of several pilot sessions with parents – and grandparents of different generations in Dhaka and surroundings.
